You're a mage attending a huge festival but the Grandlight ceremony. However, a thief had broken into your house late at night and stole “The Everlasting” which is a sword that unleashes rays of light into the night sky when used. Now you're on a hunt to retrieve back the sword before nightfall, which is when the festival starts.
